CBGA - Case Study

The issue

CBGA were asked to sell a commercial property in Yorkshire with a Christmas deadline only three weeks away. The property was a retail warehouse with three existing tenants.


The solution

CBGA circulated details of the property to a handful of agents, and were introduced in turn to Circle. They had heard of Circle, but not dealt with them previously.

Circle reviewed the details and very quickly made a decision and an offer. Negotiations took place rapidly and agreement was reached. However there were only 3 weeks left to conclude the deal before the client’s target date.

The legal due diligence was done rapidly. This revealed a right-of-way issue and there was some negative national publicity about the tenant at the same time. Circle and CBGA worked around these issues to keep the deal on track. Exchange happened before the Christmas deadline, with completion soon after. The delighted client got their desired result despite the very tight timescales.
